We understand that it can be stressful to leave your pet when you go out of town – especially if they are ill, or when they are recovering from a procedure or surgery. At Sawtooth Animal Center, we want to help put your mind at ease.
We provide complete general boarding services for all of our patients, and medical boarding services for pets with conditions standard boarding centers may not be equipped to accommodate.
Our resort staff has been carefully selected and has received extensive training and education on animal care and behavior.
Dog Daycare in Bellevue
At Sawtooth Animal Center, we offer a daycare service for clients who need to have their dogs watched for the day. While your dog is here, we will interact and play with them. This service is great for anyone who wishes to have a more well-behaved, socialized dog. It is also a great way to get your puppy started off on the right foot.
Dog & Cat Boarding: A Typical Day
Dogs
Each morning, the dogs venture outside to our outdoor play yards before breakfast. While they are outside, their kennels are cleaned and disinfected.
Depending on their physical capacity and sociability, dogs may play in our supervised off-leash playgroups. If your dog is unable or unwilling to play, we have separate exercise yards for them, too!
Cats
Your cat will have their very own condo and will be fed according to your specifications and their requirements, to ensure their routine is the same as it is at home.
We provide daily one-on-one interaction with kitties (if they want it!) including play, snuggles, and pets. Litter boxes are checked, cleaned, and disinfected periodically throughout the day.
Additionally, we refresh linens and clean your kitty's room daily. Our cat boarding area is separated from the dog area to ensure your kitty feels relaxed and safe while they stay with us.

What accommodations and amenities do you have?
We've got everything your pet needs for a fun, recuperative, and safe stay, including the following accommodations and amenities:

- 8' x 9' Luxury dog suites available

Is there a limit to the number of pets I can board at a time?
We have a large facility and are able to accommodate several animals at once, provided you give us sufficient notice.
Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to board family members (canine/canine or feline/feline) together.

How much does pet boarding cost?
Boarding fees vary based on the duration of the stay, the size of the pet, and special medical requirements. That said, our pricing is affordable and competitive, and we welcome you to contact us for a quote.

What time should I drop off and pick up my pet?
All pets must be dropped off or picked up during regular office hours. For first-time boarders, we recommend drop off to be no later than 4 p.m. so they can get acclimated before bed time. Our check-out time is 3 p.m. on day of departure, a ½ day of daycare will be charged after this time. Reservations are recommended, especially for holidays and summer weekends. During these times, we recommend that you call 2-3 weeks in advance to increase the chance that a spot will be available.

What should I pack for my pet?
Food: We provide food for pets staying with us. However, please feel free to bring enough of your pet's regular food to last the duration of the stay.
Medication: If your pet takes any medication, bring it along for our staff to administer.
Toys: We provide ample toys for our guests. If you bring along a toy or two, please do not bring anything uniquely valuable as we cannot guarantee their safe return.

How should I prepare for my pet's stay?
Each animal is different. To prepare for your pet's stay with us, we'll take the following steps to ensure that we can meet their unique needs.
Step 1: Contact us to get started
Call us to book, and to discuss details about your pet and your boarding needs. A member of our team will be happy to coordinate your booking.
Pets must be up to date with all vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks to stay at our facility.
Step 2: Book a trial stay
We want to be absolutely sure that we are a good fit for your pet before an extended stay. We recommend at least one day of daycare prior to your dog’s first overnight boarding stay. A day of daycare will give your dog a chance to get to know our staff, acclimate them to the environment, and let them know that you will be back for them! This helps to minimize any stress or separation anxiety during their first boarding stay.
Step 3: Set your pet up for success
On the day you drop your pet off with us, there are a few steps you can take to help reduce any stress your pet may feel.
Spend some extra time with your pet beforehand, and make sure they get some vigorous exercise so that they are feeling calm. When you arrive at our facility, stay calm, cheerful and confident during the separation.

What do you feed animals that don't have their own food?
For pets that are not on a special diet, we can provide high-quality pet food that is appropriate for the size and breed of your pet. An additional fee may apply.

Small Mammals, Birds & Exotics
Exclusive to Sawtooth Animal Center, are our exotic pet boarding rooms. We have the ability and expertise to house a variety of exotic animals including birds of all sizes, hamsters, lizards, and plenty of other mammals, reptiles, and amphibians.
