Laurie Breedveld, DVM

Dr. Breedveld has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years. After receiving her B.S. degree from The Ohio State University, she continued to complete her M.S. degree at the University of Kentucky and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 1992.

After practicing in a mixed animal clinic in southeastern Wisconsin for 6 1/2 years, Dr. Breedveld came to the Sawtooth Animal Center in the winter of 1999. She has a special interest in internal medicine for dogs and cats and she also treats pocket pets, reptiles, some birds and wildlife.

Having grown up with dogs, cats, horses, goats, and reptiles, and various rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife and wild birds, Dr. Breedveld has always had an interest in animal medicine. Dr. Breedveld still has a menagerie of dogs, cats, horses, mules, and a large iguana at home. Her other hobbies include hiking, horseback riding, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and gardening.

Dana Lieu, DVM

Dr. Dana Lieu was born and raised in Seattle, Washington where she attended Seattle University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities. For the next four years she worked in the genetics laboratory at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

She has practiced in both small and mixed animal practices and has a special interest in preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.

When she isn’t working with patients and clients at the clinic, Dr. Lieu loves spending quality with her husband Ryan, two dogs (Skylar and Rogan) and two cats (Nugget and Nacho). They enjoy anything outdoors, especially backpacking and hiking.

Dan Breuer, DVM

Dr. Dan Breuer was raised on a diversified farm in Southwest Wisconsin ( Glen Haven ). Dr. Dan earned his Bachelors in Science at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2013, then proceeded to Iowa State University to complete his DVM in the Spring of 2017.
